We are always down the shore for the week of preseason football and my husband likes to try to watch the eagles game down there. Unfortunately the OC Brewery closed so there's not many other places to go for the game. I think green turtle has it but we are not fighting the crowds to go there. So I was typing in OC MD sports bars with TVs and this place came up on yelp. I looked over the menu and it looked interesting and different so we decided to give it a try. Bonus is that it's just 2 blocks from our condo so we walked there.
They had a misfits sign out front which my husband liked. The place is very small but we were able to grab a table. Later I found out there's outside seating too. Our waitress was ok. I asked if she can put on the eagles game on one of the TVs and she said no cause the ravens game is coming on. I don't know if all the TVs have to be playing the same channel or not. But my husband didn't really care that he missed the game because we really enjoyed the food.
I wanted tacos but I didn't want chicken or beef. I saw duck taco photos on yelp but I guess it was a one time special, they didn't have them. I wanted something light. I ended up ordering the mako me crazy sandwich which had soy glazed mako, cilantro lime slaw, ponzu carrots, cucumber, sesame aioli, and crispy shallots. It was delicious, very light, and fresh flavors. It was a little hard to eat at first, the roll was a little tough and it got messy. But still very good. My husband liked my meal better than his. He got the tsunami tacos with sesame crusted ahi tuna, seaweed salad, red onion, plum, and fresh cilantro. We shared our meals, I took some of his as well and his was very good as well. I also got a couple champagne crushes they were on special. It was good take on it, but I like the original orange crushes better.
Overall glad I found this place and we will be back again. Can't believe we never knew about it and we've been coming down to OC MD for 20 years. -

This place is attached to Kcoast and I'm so glad we went. The food was amazing!
We got appetizer fries, a pound of shrimp, colossal crab flatbread, chicken sandwich, wings, steak tacos and a burger.
Our group shared our meals like a tapas style meal and we weren't disappointed! I'm surprised it wasn't busier there.
The huge hit was the flatbread. It was delectable!
The service was good, but we'll go back more so for the food. -

Pleasantly surprised by this small restaurant attached to a surf shop. It's a must if you visit OCMD. From brick oven pizza/flatbread to mussels, sandwiches, seaweed salad, wings, and more. A lot of unique options and certainly will come back to try all their other menu items. Service was fast and friendly. Really no complaints in my mind.
***One year later and updating my short review. We really love this place. Probably the best food we've had in OCMD so far. Small but yet comfortable atmosphere. This go around we had their jerk chicken wrap, seaweed salad, rhino fries (a must), and one of their flatbread brick oven pizzas. Loved every item. Food comes out fast, is warm, and delicious. They have really good seasoning on all their dishes. I definitely recommend this place to everybody that visits the town. -

For fifteen years now? we've been staying at some locations a block or two away from here. We wanted something lighter tonight and a bit different and my wife mentioned tacos. What? I want tacos I think... Let's try this Shotti's Point that we could easily walk to. Walking up to the door, I saw a small sticker of the Misfit's Crimson Ghost. "Welcome to Ocean City, Now Go Home!" I'm in the fiend club, so this was the most welcoming sign I've ever seen here.
We waited a minute or so and decided to seat ourselves. There were three empty tables inside, but apparently there is outside seating too. The beer list looked interesting and I went with a semi-local beer.
I need to place a disclaimer or explain to you how my wife and I order food... If I want Item A and my wife gets Item B, then Item A is always better. ALWAYS! If I want Item A and my wife wants Item B, but she gets Item A and I get Item B, then Item B will be better. I hope you are following that I always make the better decisions. So I went with the Original Tsunami Tacos. Black and white sesame encrusted ahi tuna, red onions, plum sauce, cilantro and seaweed. One bite and these were possibly the best tuna tacos I've ever had. Simply amazing and perfect flavors.
This is where things get weird. My wife went with the Mako Mi Crazy. Soy mako, cilantro, cucumber, sesame aioli, shallots, ponzu carrots on a
"sandwich roll", which turned out to be a baguette. This was basically a fish banh mi... Okay, remember how I explained to you how we order? This sandwich was better than my tacos... My tacos were the best tuna tacos I've ever had... Something is wrong... How could her choice be better?
I sat still for three to five minutes contemplating how I got to this point. How she picked the better meal and how this sandwich was better than my favorite sandwich in Ocean City... She asked me if this sandwich was better... She is in my head... Her powers have now fully matured and she is probably unstoppable now. She can out maneuver me... I am frightened.. I didn't even take a picture of her meal, because I knew mine was better... This was all I had...
I'll be honest, we eat some good meals down here in Ocean City, but I haven't found meals that are super spectacular. This place was different and flavorful. This is now going to be a regular staple of ours. Why did we go elsewhere when we were looking for something quick and easy? This really was the best meal I've had all week here and possibly one of the top two meals I've had in Ocean City out of the over one hundred meals I've eaten. These are the flavors I want. I love creativity, rather than relying on Old Bay. No laziness in the kitchen here. They do have a lot of food with Old Bay too, but still, just fantastic offerings. oh and if you read my wife's review, ignore her. She wanted a different bread offering. She didn't want this amazing baguette... she impresses and shocks me by getting the best sandwich, but still disappoints by wanting to make a change...
How can I not be back? -

Best spot in OCMD. Fresh, delish- true dish! Great service and the Kona on tap was quite refreshing. Sitting outside on bay was delightful! Could have eaten here everyday- excited to go back! *get the crab cake sandy!
